André Nielges has been part of Eurorent Network since 01.08.2024 and Deputy Managing Director since 01.08.2025. With over ten years of experience in the world of work platforms and forklift trucks, he brings industry knowledge, speed and strategic clarity to the company.
In this interview, he talks about responsibility, internationalization and the future of Eurorent.
André, you have been part of Eurorent Network since 01.08.2024 and Deputy Managing Director since 01.08.2025 – how has your role developed?
Very fast-paced. With the additional responsibility and expertise that I was able to bring to the existing team, many things have developed even faster. Decisions, processes and strategic issues have gained significant momentum.
You have been working in the world of access platforms and forklift trucks for over ten years – what changes have had a particular impact on you?
Especially digitalization. Inquiries are even faster today, partners and suppliers respond in the shortest possible time – and it is precisely this speed that customers expect. Response time is now a decisive competitive factor.
What was the deciding factor for you to switch to Eurorent Network?
I have known Christoph Queitzsch for over ten years. This trust has simplified many things. The question was more: “Are you interested?” – and my answer was clear: yes. It sounded exciting, dynamic and like a real prospect for development.
As Deputy Managing Director, you have strategic responsibility – what is your current focus?
Clearly on visibility. We want to become even more present in the world of work platforms and forklifts – with suppliers as well as with customers. And not just nationally, but internationally. The name Eurorent stands for Europe for a reason.
How does Eurorent Network differ from traditional rental companies?
We do not think regionally around the “church spire”. Our projects are Europe-wide. From Norway to Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Spain and Portugal to Switzerland and Austria – we are active wherever our customers need us. The “EURO” in Eurorent has a clear meaning.
You are largely responsible for communication and public image – what role does LinkedIn play for you?
A very decisive one. In addition to recommendations and word of mouth, digital visibility is indispensable today. Even if AI is increasingly making inroads – in the end, it is people who post, network and build relationships. This is exactly where trust is created.
How important is internationalization – especially with regard to Eastern Europe?
Extremely important. More and more companies are relocating activities from West to East. That is why we are already building up a strong partner network today so that we will be competitive and strategically well positioned in five to ten years’ time.
Which leadership principles are particularly important to you?
Clear structures. No exceptions. Guidelines that employees can use as a guide. Growth needs order, transparency and reliability – this is the only way to achieve sustainable development.
What does sustainable growth in the access platform and forklift industry mean to you?
Sustainable growth does not mean simply becoming faster or bigger than the competition. The aim is to build stable partnerships, make processes predictable and develop a resilient network. Structures must also function in the face of market fluctuations – through quality, reliability and clear positioning. Growth should be organic and strategic, not opportunistic.
Where do you see Eurorent Network in three years’ time – and what role do you want to play?
I see a team that has grown considerably and is working even more closely together. In addition to Germany and Poland, we will have colleagues in other European markets in the future – for example in Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Spain and the Czech Republic. Our network will be broader, more international and structurally stronger.
I see my role as actively supporting this growth: To consciously transfer responsibility, consolidate structures and support the team in the best possible way. Growth comes from people, from trust and from clear leadership – that’s exactly what I focus on.
