Interview: How Renata organizes work platform rentals throughout Europe
Renata, you work for EURORENT Network from Poland – how did you join the company and what was your start in the team like?
I have known EURORENT for several years, when I was still an employee of another rental company. That’s how I got the offer to join the EURORENT team, which I gladly accepted. What convinced me right from the start: the short decision-making processes and the genuine interest in developing things further together.
You look after Polish customers who are implementing their projects in various European countries. How do you coordinate these assignments on a day-to-day basis?
A decisive factor is responding quickly to customers’ needs. Presenting an offer within a short time always leads to a positive response – customers really appreciate it when their time is respected. Customer service is a complex process: from creating a suitable offer to handling all the formalities and providing support throughout the project. Ensuring the best possible customer experience is key.
A large part of your work consists of finding suitable rental solutions for forklifts, Organize telescopic forklifts and work platforms. What is particularly important here?
The most important thing is to understand the customer’s expectations precisely and provide devices that meet their requirements. To do this, it is crucial to precisely determine the customer’s actual needs – through a detailed and structured discussion. We need to know exactly what work is being carried out, under what conditions and whether there are any special restrictions or technical requirements for the machines.
What special features do you see in the Polish market and in the requirements of your customers?
Our customers expect an individual approach and a comprehensive service. Speed and reliability are particularly important – information must be provided promptly and accurately. At the same time, price plays a major role. Due to rising fixed costs, many customers are paying very close attention to their expenses, which is why competitiveness against other providers is crucial. This is precisely why the ability to rent work platforms and use them throughout Europe is a decisive advantage for our customers.
What advantages do you see in working with partners from all over Europe?
The biggest advantage is our presence in many European countries. This enables us to offer our customers a broader range of services and at the same time strengthen our market position. EURORENT is perceived by many customers as an international provider with a wide reach. This structure enables us to continue to grow and expand our customer relationships in the long term.
What makes a good collaboration with customers for you?
For me, commitment, experience, the ability to listen and reliable communication form the basis of every successful customer relationship. For me, the best proof of a good collaboration is when customers come back to us for their next projects.
How does the collaboration with the team in Germany work for you, even though you don’t see each other in person every day?
The collaboration works very well. I can always rely on the support of my colleagues. In my opinion, physical distance is not an obstacle – what matters is how people communicate with each other and build relationships. Even if we don’t see each other in person every day, there are many opportunities to stay in touch and work closely together as a team.
What do you think makes the team at EURORENT Network special?
The team is characterized by flexibility, creativity in the search for solutions and a willingness to take on challenges. At the same time, there is a friendly approach and a positive attitude – a combination that makes working together very pleasant.
Renting work platforms in Europe: What was your most exciting job?
One particularly exciting task was the planning and execution of an order for a Scottish customer who was implementing two projects in France at the same time. In total, more than 20 machines were required – including articulated telescopic boom lifts and telescopic forklifts – with special requirements for protocols and certificates for each machine. Despite the complexity, we were able to complete the job successfully, which I am very proud of.
